For this case, “Roadway Safety Program”, INFORM – along with MAPFRE Institute of Roadway Safety – received its most recent prize, the Top Social ADVB (Brazilian Association of Sales and Marketing Executives), whose objective is to award social initiatives by organizations and businesses, that bring about awareness, through efforts to engage in exemplary socially responsible programs for social transformation.
The project consists in a campaign to prevent accidents, mainly, by bringing awareness to the importance of preventive vehicle maintenance and traffic education in elementary and high schools. The program principal’s action is free vehicle tune-up, available, without distinction, to all drivers.
INFORM’s responsibility is promoting the project, informing the media about free tune-ups available around the nation. Press conferences and contact with major newspapers made possible to shed more light on the importance of preventing traffic accidents in the country. As a result, on average, 15 articles each month have appeared on the nation’s major newspapers and specialized websites, always highlighting benefits the program offers to society. .
